The laser works best on light skin with dark hair — darker hair absorbs the energy more effectively. Blonde, gray, or peach fuzz won’t respond as well. If you have dark skin, we recommend a spot test first for safety.
Most patients need 4-8 sessions spaced 6-8 weeks apart because hair grows in cycles. Between treatments, you can shave, but don’t pluck, wax, or tweeze — the laser needs the hair root intact.

The Lightsheer Duet and Soprano lasers both target hair follicles beneath the skin surface. The laser energy heats the follicle, preventing future hair growth. Once the follicle is destroyed, hair doesn't grow back in that area. Hair falls out gradually over 1-2 weeks after each treatment.
We use the advanced Lightsheer Duet laser. It delivers 75% faster treatment times compared to standard lasers and is virtually painless while being highly effective. We also have the Soprano both lasers can be safly used for all skin types.
Best candidates have light skin and dark hair. The laser doesn't work effectively on blonde, gray, or peach fuzz hair. If you have dark skin, we recommend a spot test first for safety. You can't have tanned the area in the past 2 weeks, and you should avoid plucking, waxing, or tweezing for 2 weeks before treatment. Shaving is fine.
Face (lip, chin, full face, sideburns, neck), body (underarms, bikini line, arms, shoulders, legs, back), and other areas. You can combine treatments on the same day.
Small areas (lip, chin, underarms) take 5-10 minutes. Medium areas (bikini, half legs) take 10-15 minutes. Large areas (full legs, back) take 30 minutes.
